Usage Meters

OrderDay tracks usage across two dimensions:

Products

The number of unique products synced from your Shopify store.

  • Each Shopify product variant counts as one product
  • Archived products don't count toward your limit
  • Duplicates across suppliers count once

Suppliers

The number of supplier/distributor profiles in your account.

  • Each supplier counts regardless of product assignments
  • Inactive suppliers still count toward limit
  • Delete unused suppliers to stay within limits

Checking Your Usage

View current usage anytime:

  1. Click your account menu (top right)
  2. Select Billing
  3. See "Current Usage" section

The usage display shows:

  • Products: X of Y (with progress bar)
  • Suppliers: X of Y (with progress bar)
  • Plan: Your current plan name
  • Trial/Billing period: Dates and status

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade to Complete

  1. Go to Billing from account menu
  2. Click Upgrade to Complete
  3. Enter payment information
  4. Confirm subscription

Your limits expand immediately upon upgrade.

Change Plans

  1. Go to Billing from account menu
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. Opens Stripe Customer Portal
  4. Select new plan or modify subscription

Cancel Subscription

  1. Go to Billing > Manage Billing
  2. Click Cancel Plan in Stripe Portal
  3. Confirm cancellation

Cancellation Effect

Access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to Free plan limits.

Payment Information

Update Payment Method

  1. Go to Billing > Manage Billing
  2. Click Payment methods in Stripe Portal
  3. Add new card or update existing
  4. Set as default if needed

View Invoices

  1. Go to Billing > Manage Billing
  2. Click Billing history in Stripe Portal
  3. Download any invoice as PDF

Billing Cycle

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly
  • Charges process on your sign-up date each month
  • Invoices sent automatically to account email

FAQ

Q: What happens when my trial ends?

A: Your account automatically moves to the Free plan. You won't lose any data, but features may be limited based on your usage. Upgrade anytime to restore full access.

Q: Can I extend my trial?

A: Contact support if you need more time to evaluate. We're happy to help.

Q: What if I exceed Free plan limits?

A: You can still view your data, but you won't be able to add more products or suppliers until you upgrade or reduce usage.

Q: Is there an annual plan?

A: Annual plans with discounted pricing are available. Contact support for details.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: We offer pro-rated refunds within 14 days of any charge. Contact support with your request.

Q: Do you offer nonprofit or educational discounts?

A: Yes! Contact support with verification of your nonprofit or educational status.

Stripe Customer Portal

The Manage Billing button opens Stripe's secure customer portal where you can:

  • Update payment methods
  • View and download invoices
  • Change or cancel subscription
  • Update billing email
  • View payment history

All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. OrderDay never sees or stores your full card details.
